Calluses and Corns Treatment

Calluses and Corns are both common foot conditions that develop when the skin is exposed to repeated friction such as walking, running, etc causing the skin to thicken. This protects the underlying tissues.

Calluses are generally not painful. They spread out in large yellow patches and can be found on the heels, big toes, balls, and sides of the feet.

Corns, however, are small and round. They develop on boney areas such as the toes, sides, and bottom of the feet. The corn protects the bone from repeated friction and injury. This causes pain when wearing ill-fitting shoes, or as the shoes rub against the bone.

This treatment takes about an hour. It is followed up with a soothing moisturizing foot massage.
